Eagle Foundation Seeks Scholarship Applicants
We appreciate all of the families who created a memorial or honorary scholarship to assist young students in furthering their education. In addition, a BIG thank you is extended to The Mechanicsburg Club who currently supports (15) scholarships awarded annually.

SUMMARY OF SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE THROUGH AN APPLICATION
- One-time award of $1,500.
- This annual scholarship will be awarded primarily based on financial need, with additional consideration given to academic achievement, and involvement in school, employment, and community activities.
Peter Craig Breen Memorial Scholarship in Science
- One-time award of $1,500.
- Interest to pursue a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Math, or Physics at a 4-year educational institution.
- Preference given to applicants who meet required criteria and also demonstrate participation in science activities outside of the classroom, musical accomplishments, and service to the community.
Buddy Program Academic Scholarship
- Two-year award, in the amount of $7,500 per year, for a total of $15,000 over a two-year period.
- The candidate must be a graduate of the Summer Buddy Program and should have attended a minimum of 50% of the follow-up meetings held throughout the school year(s).
Cumberland Valley Alumni Association (CVAA) Scholarship
- One-time award of $1,500.
- Applicant must be the child/grandchild of a CVHS graduate.
Charles H. Jr. and Jane Eagle Diller Educational Scholarship
- $20,000 award -- $5,000 yearly installments for 4 years.
- Intent to pursue a business degree (including accounting, business management, economics, finance, and entrepreneurship majors).
- Demonstrates financial need via a completed FAFSA form.
Audrey W. Harker Memorial Scholarship - Cumberland Valley Spirit and Congeniality Award
- One-time award of $2,000.
- The successful candidate must be the personification of school spirit, congeniality, and compassion for others. That is, they must be an individual who "lives life to the fullest" and possesses a large and diverse circle of friends.
Wilmer and Patricia Harris Honorary Scholarship
- One-time award of $5,000.
- Demonstration of overcoming physical or emotional hardship.
Military Legacy Scholarship
- One-time award of $2,500.
- Child of a parent or legal guardian who serves currently or served in the active-duty military, Reserves, or National Guard at any point during the applicant’s lifetime.
- Based on broad criteria reflecting high character, good academic performance, volunteerism, service to CV and the community, leadership, and extra-curricular involvement, among other traits.
Beth A. Munsch Memorial Education Scholarship
- One-time award of $1,500.
- Applicant must declare intentions of earning an educational degree.
Pathway to Success Scholarship
- One-time award of $2,500.
- Applicants must have a diagnosis of an intellectual or developmental disability and were served under an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Soaring Eagles Scholarship
- One-time award of $2,500.
- Awarded to a student who has been recognized as a Soaring Eagle at any point throughout their high school tenure.
Dr. B. Jean Walker Educational Scholarship
- One-time award of $1,500.
- Applicant must declare an intention to earn an Education Degree at a 4-year institution.
